When will be the first payment? and the rest of the payment?First payment will be paid same day as transfer start, and the second one will be paid once transfer completed. (if we are doing bank transfer: second payment will be the same day once transfer confirmed by banker)

FMCSA confirmed DOT is not transferrable.We do not transfer the DOT number. We buy the full authority including the company structure and we will just change the owner in full authority. It is the same as buying a trucking company with trucks.

Is it legal selling my trucking authority?According to FMCSA: For corporations, partnerships and other business organizations, the USDOT number will remain the same when there is a change in company officials, address or other demographic information, and the corporation, partnership, or other business organization will continue operations as the same legal person/entity. In case of a change in demographic information, the motor carrier is required to file an updated Form MCS-150, Motor Carrier Identification Report, within 30 days of the change

When is the due date to pay the second payment?Same day as ownership transfer completed under new owners name with FMCSA, State, IRS, RMIS. Usually takes 1-3 weeks.
